CHALLENGE
Our client, a fast-growing retail electricity provider and subsidiary of a leading global clean energy company was seeking a finance professional to develop and lead project financing for the company’s project development portfolio and to secure capital to expand product development and manufacturing. They were looking for someone with extensive international and domestic project finance experience with big-ticket, technology infrastructure projects ideally in the energy domain. They had established aggressive goals so needed a strong, hands-on leader to execute.
Our client was unable to identify a candidate pool with the critical mix of structured finance background, specific domain expertise, and entrepreneurial DNA who could come on board and quickly come to up speed to execute on the financing of large-scale and distributed projects internationally. The search was open for six months before we were contacted.
